La Fontanella Farm is an olive grove located in the green rolling hills around Orvieto, an old Etruscan town located in Umbria in Italy.
The cats of Fontanella Farm, of which there are many, live a charmed life, with good food, comfortable beds, and a new adventure everyday.
Six cats live inside, where cosiness resides. Another six cats live outside, a whiskered brigade patrolling the land. A magical world for the cats, they frolic and twirl and prance, exploring their environment.
Everyday special.

Born in the United Kingdom, I studied and worked in the UK and Asia before moving to an olive farm in the rolling hills of Umbria in Italy.
My days are spent working on the land, looking after olive trees and fruit trees, processing the produce from the farm, learning Italian, living La Dolce Vita, and spoiling my cats….. oh so so many cats. They keep me amused and bring so much joy into my life. All with their own personalities, some live indoors, some live outdoors, and it is my pleasure to share their varied and fun adventures with you.
Rebecca Tatternorth is an artist who lives and works looking out at the sea from her farm in Cornwall. She is surrounded by her dogs, cats and chickens, who provide endless amusement and inspiration for her work.
She has worked on a number of books for children, including Camille the Chaneleon and The Panda on PDA, drawing on her artistic training and her life as a mother to communicate with children through art.
She has thoroughly enjoyed working on The Cats of Fontenalla Farm series- and her cats Misty and Stormy have kept her track every step of the way!
